Urine Dips
| Dip panel urine drug tests offer a cheaper alternative to using urine test cups. Dip tests are available in a single panel, which will identify donors using a specific (single) drug of abuse but also can be purchased to include (up to) 12 panels…in a single test! These tests are now so easy, reliable and accurate that most organizations carry out the drug screening on site. These one-step drug tests vary in terms of the substance they are trying to detect in urine samples, as well as the cut-off levels. The processing of these tests is easy and obtaining the results occures in minutes. With any order of 24 or more urine dip drug tests (2 or more drug panels), we will include urine collection cups. |
| Urine drug testing has been the main format of testing for drugs for many years. There are a wide variety of products available from several manufacturers. Drug tests are very good value, as they are a little cheaper than oral fluid tests. Urine is a very good medium to use for drug detection provided the tests are not being carried out to detect impairment. By the time the drug is in the urine, impairment has mostly ceased; however, the donor may still be in withdrawal or in a depressed condition, so urine drug tests could still be used ‘for cause’ to identify those in the withdrawal stage. |
