Description

Fentanyl is an extremely powerful synthetic opioid, far more potent than heroin.  Fentanyl is prescribed for chronic pain, severe cancer pain, nerve damage, back injury, major trauma and surgery.  People are abusing fentanyl without knowing as fake OxyContin pills; others are abusing heroin laced with fentanyl, while a huge percentage is abusing fentanyl knowing of its lethal consequences.

Use Fentanyl Harm Reduction Test Strips for qualitative, preliminary analytical results on a substance in question.

Results

  • NEGATIVE: Two colored lines appear. One colored line should be in the control line region (C) and another colored line should be in the test line region (T). This negative result indicates that the Xylazine concentration is below the detectable cut-off level. If only the control line (C) and NO test line (T) appears.
  • POSITIVE: One colored line appears in the control line region (C). No line appears in the test line region (T). This positive result indicates that the Xylazine concentration exceeds the detectable cut-off level.
  • INVALID: Control line fails to appear. Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for control line failure. Review the procedure and repeat the test with a new test.
