Instructions

Step-1: Pull one sealed plastic bag out of the kit: Open the sealed plastic bag: Insert hand into the mitten while it still inside the sealed plastic bag--to avoid contamination: Remove your hand wearing the mitten out of the plastic bag.

Step-2: Spray the palm/fingers of your hand covered with the mitten with GSPR reagent #1 until wet and saturated. Spray from a distance of 20 cm (8 ). Swipe the suspect’s hands carefully...at least 4 wipes of each hand: first swipe the inside of the palm--around the thumb --the pointing finger and the back of the palm.

Step-3: Spray the whole area of the mitten with GSPR reagent #2 (the same area sprayed with GSPR #1). Spray the whole area of the mitten with GSPR reagent #3 (the same area sprayed with GSPR #1 and #2).

Observe for an appearance of pink spots on the mitten--indicating the presence of Gun Powder Residue.

Important Note: Only an IMMEDIATE appearance of pink spots should be considered a positive result. A treated mitten left in open polluted air--may change it's color to pink gradually. This late color reaction should NOT be considered as positive.
