Instructions

Collect your urine in a urine collection cup. Immediately after collection, holding the test strip vertically, immerse the sample pad into the urine with the arrow pointing towards the urine. Caution: DO NOT immerse past the MAX line.

Take the test strip out after 5 seconds. Lay the test strip flat on a clean, dry, non-absorbent surface with the MAX line side facing upwards, and then begin timing.

Positive results may sometimes appear as early as 3 minutes, but you should wait the full 5 minutes to confirm a result.

DO NOT read the result after 10 minutes.

Additional Information

hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) is a hormone produced by the placenta shortly after a fertilized egg attaches to the uterine lining. Its presence in urine or blood is one of the earliest signs of pregnancy. Most home pregnancy tests, like the Amazewell Test Strip, detect hCG in urine. Levels of hCG rise rapidly in early pregnancy, often doubling every 48–72 hours. Blood tests can detect hCG earlier and measure the exact amount, while urine tests are more convenient for quick, at-home use. If a test is taken too early, hCG levels may not be high enough to detect—so retesting a few days later is often recommended.

Results

Positive (pregnant): TWO distinct colored lines appear in the Control Zone (C) and the Test Zone (T) which indicates you are pregnant.

Negative (not pregnant): Only ONE colored line appears in the Control Zone (C), and no
apparent line in the Test Zone (T), which indicates you are not pregnant

Invalid: No colored line appears in the Control Zone (C), even if a colored line appears in the Test Zone (T), it indicates that the test is invalid.
